Upper Dentdale: summer storm

It is suggested that Fox ‘came into Dent’ at the head of the dale, where the impressive railway viaduct now runs, and may not have reached Dent itself, but struck off north to Garsdale. He held a moderately successful meeting at Stonehouses — where ‘but a ffew ... then was convinced’.
