St Cuthbert's, Aldingham

Aldingham (on the shore of Morecambe Bay) was the parish church, with chapels of ease at Dendron, Gleaston, Roosebeck, Newbiggin, Scales, Sunbrick, The Moat, and Windhill. In 1650 the minister was ‘Mr Thomas Shaw, a painfull Minister and of a good conversation’.
