Senior Research AssociateResearch Overview
I am a researcher specialising in the time series analysis of complex systems. This includes the analysis of chaotic and stochastic data but in particular data from non-autonomous (time-dependent) systems. Time series from these kinds of systems require particular attention and care. This is of great importance to the analysis of living systems.
I have also spent several years in industry developing algorithms for medical devices and wearable technology. In addition, I have been involved in the development of new numerical Bayesian statistical techniques based on Markov chain Monte Carlo and sequential Monte Carlo.
