Dr Joe Kinrade
Research FellowResearch Overview
Research Fellow in the Space & Planetary Physics group, specialising in the remote sensing observation of planetary auroras and magnetospheres. Currently working with images/data from the Hubble Space Telescope and Cassini missions to profile Saturn's auroral, radio and ENA emissions. Other research interests include ionospheric imaging with GNSS tomography, high latitude ionospheric and auroral morphology, and effects of radio wave scintillation on GPS and SBAS performance. Fieldwork experience in Antarctica, Cape Verde and the Outer Hebrides.
