Research Overview

My current research focuses on the atomic-scale characterization of quantum-enhanced molecular materials. I employ scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to analyse single and multi-layer molecular films deposited using ultra-high vacuum techniques like thermal sublimation and electrospray deposition. The molecules under investigation exhibit interesting properties, including electronic switching, useful for memristive applications, and high thermoelectric performance, enabling the conversion of heat into electricity.
