The Pentland Centre is hosting a series of sessions designed for our Professional Services members, and open to Professional Services colleagues across the University, as well as academic colleagues who may not have expertise in the topic.
This session in the series will explore the concept of corporate biosphere stewardship - the idea that companies can take responsibility for protecting nature. Led by Prof. Jan Bebbington, the seminar will examine three key questions: which companies could take on this role, what aspects of the biosphere are affected by corporate activities, and what stewardship means in this context. Through these discussions, the session will provide insights into how businesses can engage with and support sustainability efforts.
NB: The seminar runs from 11:00-11:50 in MAN- Management School WP B007 and on Teams. Please note that this session will be recorded.
All Lancaster University staff and students welcome - registration required.
