The Centre is bringing UK research centres on sustainability and responsibility topics together to see how we can do more together than we can apart.

The Pentland Centre has been working in partnership with the British Academy of Management and Professor Helen Tregidga from Royal Holloway’s Centre for Research into Sustainability to understand the landscape of UK research centres focusing on sustainability and responsibility themes. In August of 2024 we conducted a survey to obtain a baseline understanding of how UK centres function and how they are funded. The results of this survey are provided below.

The next step in this programme is to work with the leads of the centres to develop a sense of how we could work together for more impact. This work has started with colleagues meeting in May 2024 to start discussions.
