Dr Noor Hashim
LecturerProfile
Noor Hashim is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Lancaster University Management School. She joined Lancaster in 2013 after completing her PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester.
Noor's research interests are in the area of banking regulations, financial intermediation, equity analysts’ forecasts, investment banking relations and institutional investor trading. Noor has been awarded the Manchester Business School Doctoral Bursary for 2009-2012. She has been awarded the Sir Julian Hodge Prize for the best overall performance in the MSc Financial Economics courses at Cardiff Business School for the year 2007.

2016-2018: ICAEW Funding (budget: £24,080) for research project: Expected-loss accounting for impairment: the IASB and FASB proposals since 2009 (with Prof. John O'Hanlon).
