PhD Supervision Interests
I am looking to supervise 1-2 students every year who are interested in the intersections between some of the following areas: Supply chain sustainability, particularly in developing or transitioning economies; Resilience and sustainability in urban food systems; Sustainability and Digital Economy; The environmental and social impacts of China's Belt and Road Initiative; ESG performance and supply chain sustainability/risks. Pre-proposal inquiries are welcome. Before reaching out, please review the following details carefully: When contacting me, please explicitly state whether you require funding. If you seek funding from LUMS, ensure your application reaches us before January 202X (each year) to potentially receive an offer for October 202X entry. This includes CSC funding. If you are currently studying a master degree and will not receive all your transcripts and your degree before August 202X, it is not likely that I can help you get LUMS funding for October 202X entry. Additionally, I accept PhD students interested in pursuing a degree at Lancaster Environment Centre or other LU related departments. If you follow this path, it’s essential to secure your own funding sources. I am sorry but I do not make the rules.
