Membership is open to all academic, teaching and professional services colleagues (including those holding Visiting or Honorary roles) and research students at Lancaster University, and academic staff and research students at the University's international partner institutions. We are not able to offer membership to anyone outside of these categories.

If you are interested in joining, and are in agreement with our vision, mission and strategic aims, please submit an expression of interest. If you are based at Lancaster University please complete this form, or email us if you are at an international partner institution.

Our membership ‘deal’ is very simple and reflects our desire to support, connect and inspire an engaged and inclusive community of colleagues, from across the University and our international partners, to work together on sustainability-in-business.

Benefits

  • Connection to a supportive community of practice that is inspired by the leading edge of business-in-sustainability, creates and hones knowledge, and has agency to make change.
  • For Professional Services colleagues, membership will provide an opportunity to find out more about current research in sustainability in business; and you can note involvement in your PDR, both in terms of personal development and, potentially, ways in which you’ve supported the development of other people.
  • For teaching, engagement and research colleagues, you can note involvement in Centre activities, including podcasts and Knowledge and Action Hubs, in your PDR, which can then be used to support promotion cases.
