Attention Baroque Dancers and enthusiasts:

I have started an electronic discussion group for scholars and enthusiasts of Baroque Dance. Currently the list is called Feuillet and is based on my e-mail account here at Indiana University.

I basically have two personal goals in mind for this list. I hope it will provide a place where Baroque dancers and scholars from all over the country can announce workshops, conferences, performances, publications, etc. so that we can all keep up with what everyone else is doing. More importantly, I think, I want the list to be a friendly forum for discussion of opinions and questions regarding research in and reconstruction of Baroque dance. Basically that means the list will be very egalitarian, with no particular school (hopefully) predominating the discussion, so that scholars and performers with different interpretations and approaches can present and discuss those and other aspects of their work in a productive, positive environment.
