Paula Burkinshaw is currently studying for a PhD in the Educational Research Department where she is researching the under-representation of women at the top of Higher Education from the perspective of the impact of gendered leadership cultures across the Academy.

Why are there so few female Vice Chancellors? That was the question being asked at the Missing Women in Higher Education Leadership Conference held on June 26 at Lancaster University.
