The MBC was invited to present to the EPM Community Conversation at the Winter Gardens n Morecambe on the evening of Tuesday 4th March.

Around 300 people were in attendance to hear Jo Easthope (Overton St Helen's Primary School) talk about 'Made by the Moon', Helen O'Hagan (Sandcastles Nursery) and Anne O'Connor (Primed for Life) talk about Eden Bear, and Danny Braithwaite (Principal of Lancaster & Morecambe College) talk about the ways in which the partners have supported the movement and their vision for the future.

Dr Beth Garrett and Carys Nelkon also spoke about the MBC's projects, working groups. members and curriculum resources.

'I was really proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the educators and community members who have brought the Morecambe Bay Curriculum into being. After six years of hard work, it's great to be spreading the word and letting our communities in on the brilliant work happening in our schools around the Bay.' says Carys Nelkon.

It was a great opportunity to meet so many members of the local community in a wonderful venue in Morecambe!
