Morecambe Bay Curriculum Conference
Friday 4 July 2025, 12:30pm to 5:00pm
Event Details
This year's Morecambe Bay Curriculum conference will welcome educators and community members from across the Bay to focus on designing a Climate Action Plan that makes the most of the wonderful place we live in.
The focus this year will be on developing Climate Action Plans, which will be required by all schools by 2026. We have joined with colleagues from Let's Go Zero, Climate Ambassadors and National Education Nature Parks to support teachers to develop their Climate Action Plans with a Morecambe Bay flair!
Speakers will include Dr Cormac Lawler (Climate Ambassadors North West Regional Hub Manager), Jenny Lobo (Senior Programme Officer - North West, National Education Nature Park) and Aurora Trujillo (Climate Action Adviser, Let's Go Zero). Sam Kendall (Head of School Learning, Eden Project) will also talk about how Eden features in a Cornish primary school's Climate Action Plan. Further details of the event will be posted soon on the MBC website here.
All participants will receive a Morecambe Bay Curriculum Climate Action Plan template and a delicious plant-based lunch will also be provided!
We warmly invite all teachers, educators and educational organisations from across Morecambe Bay to this FREE conference!
