About the Workshop

We are delighted to announce the Workshop on Choice-based Optimisation and Demand Modelling, hosted by STOR-i and Department of Management Science at Lancaster University Management School. The workshop aims to unite researchers who integrate agents' (customers, passengers, drivers, etc.) choice behaviours into an optimisation framework. This two-day event will feature keynote presentations, seminar sessions, and interactive discussions, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and network with experts in the field.

Keynote Speakers

We are honoured to welcome three distinguished keynote speakers who are pioneers in the field:

Affiliation: Professor of Operations Management, Department of Analytics, Marketing and Operations, Imperial College London

Topic of Keynote: Choice-parameters estimation in revenue management - exploiting marginal competitor data and tackling endogeneity

Affiliation: Professor of Operational Research, Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Southampton.

Topic of Keynote: Integrating the results of a stated preference choice model to optimise prices for demand-responsive transport

Affiliation: Thomas H. Davis Professor in Business and Professor of Analytics at Wake Forest University School of Business

Topic of Keynote: Choice-based demand modelling and censored demand estimation for personalised offers

Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions of abstracts related to choice-based optimisation, demand modelling, and their applications in various domains, including transportation, hospitality, marketing, energy, healthcare, supply chain management, and more. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

The workshop will be held at Lancaster University, a world-renowned institution known for its excellence in research and teaching.
