The aim of this forum which will be facilitated by Sue Attewell from Jisc, is to speak to students about their experiences, hopes, wants and needs for GenAI within education.

The Jisc Artificial Intelligence team is dedicated to fostering the responsible use and implementation of artificial intelligence within the UK's tertiary education sector. Our mission is to align AI technologies with educational needs, ensuring they serve to enhance learning, teaching, and research outcomes.

Why Your Voice Matters:

  • Student insights are invaluable to us. Understanding how you currently interact with AI, your concerns, and your needs helps us shape a future where AI tools are implemented thoughtfully and effectively across academic institutions.
  • Discussion topics include:
  • What and how are you currently using AI tools?
  • Concerns around use of AI in education
  • What support do you need from their institutions?
  • How could/should education embrace AI?
  • Why AI is important to get right
  • Employability issues
