Exploring the Path to Authentic Leadership
Posted on
I'm thrilled to share that my latest article, Tackling the Executive Existential Crisis, has been featured in Ambition, the magazine produced by the Association of MBAs. In this piece, I delve into the pressing need for authentic leaders in today’s ever-evolving business landscape—leaders who are not only skilled and knowledgeable but are also deeply ethical and purpose-driven.
My writing started with an article in the centre's journal, Scholarship Matters, which proved to be a catalyst for making my voice heard. By writing about what I teach, and more importantly, how I teach, I've gained greater insight into both the role that HE plays in shaping future leaders and into how my own teaching practices are having an impact. Writing about it has helped me to develop my thinking about pedagogy, leadership, and societal impact.
In the article, I discuss how existential principles and the ethos of authentic leadership can empower individuals to lead with integrity, make ethically sound decisions, and create meaningful changes in their organizations and communities. You can read the full article in the online edition of the magazine (p26).
I hope it inspires you to get writing!
