Research Overview

I am PhD candidate at Lancaster University Management School, where my interdisciplinary research focuses on circular economy based reverse logistics and the role of promtions in driving successful circular economy transition and sustainable waste management. My PhD research explores the interactivity and the interplay of multilevel pressures(micro, meso and macro) that influence the adoption of circular economy practices with a particular interest in transforming waste to wealth especially plastics waste.

Theoretically, I draw from network theory and institutional theory to address the pressing global challlenges unsustainable production and consumption.I am currently advancing network theory by introducting network pressure framework to provide a comprehensive understanding on how pressures interact and how organisations respond to interactive multilevel network pressures within and outside an organisational wide network.
