PhD studentResearch Overview
I am PhD candidate at Lancaster University Management School, where my interdisciplinary research focuses on circular economy based reverse logistics and the role of promtions in driving success trainsition to circular economy and sustainability. My PhD research explores the interaction and the interplay of multlevel pressures(micro, meso and macro) that influence the adoption of circular economy practices with a particular interest in transforming waste to wealth especially plastics waste.
Theoretically, I draw from network theory and institutional theory to address the pressing global challlenges unsustainable production and consumption.I am currently advancing network theory by introducting network pressure framework to provide a comprehensive understanding on how organisations respond to interactive multilevel network pressures within and outside an organisational wide network.
Current Teaching
In addition to my research, I am dedicated to teaching and mentoring. I am currently seminar tutor for two modules principles of marketing and quantitative marketing research, where I lead seminars and assist in marking assessments. Previously, I led seminars for intriduction to marketing and I hold an Associate Teaching Fellow certificate in recognisation of my teaching expertise.
Qualifications
Prior to doctoral studies, I earned Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Strategy (First class) in Ghana and completed Master of Research in Advanced Marketing Management at Lancaster University, UK with distinction, receiving the prestigious departmental best dissertation award in 2022.
Career Details
My professional background includes working with several esteemed organisations in Ghana such as the National Identification Authority, Judicial Service, Vodafone Ghana, Ghana Revenue Authority, Fidelity bank and Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With strong blend of academic expertise and industry experience, I am committed to contributing innovative research and practical solutions that drive the global transition toward a circular economy while inspiring the next generation of marketing and sustainability leaders.
