An in-person talk for undergraduates considering a Master's, exploring what data analytics can teach us.
The focus of this lecture is on how we can leverage user-generated data from various platforms (Google Trends, online reviews, social media) to gain customer- and brand-specific insights. We will look at a practical case study that highlights the key questions that can be addressed with the help of user-generated content. We will discuss how unstructured information such as text can be translated into data that can be analysed with the help of statistical models to then derive actionable insights.
Our Business Master's Taster Series is aimed at current undergraduates who would like to know more about studying Business at a Master's level. After the talk there will be the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the lecturer and the recruitment team.
