Lancaster PhD researcher takes work to leading management conference
A Lancaster University Management School PhD researcher will showcase his work on Artificial Intelligence and business at one of the world’s most prestigious management conferences.
Shayan Rashidi, alongside his supervisor in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Professor Lola Dada, had their paper accepted for the 84th Annual Meeting of Academy of Management (AoM) in August.
The work, Artificial Intelligence-based Business Model Innovation and the Creation and Capture of Firm Value, will be presented at the Entrepreneurship division of the AOM event, in Chicago.
The AoM is a professional association for management and organisational scholars, with a global community more than 18,000 strong. Its current President, Professor Sharon Alvarez, of the University of Pittsburgh, was the keynote speaker at LUMS’ recent research conference.
