Earlier in June, the Department of Accounting and Finance hosted the inaugural Lake District Workshop in Corporate Finance.

Alongside a keynote presentation by Marco Pagano from the University of Naples Federico II, the event featured speakers from the University of Minnesota, UBC Sauder School of Business, London Business School, INSEAD, HEC Paris, Università Bocconi, University of Cambridge and The University of Manchester, as well as a great set of discussants.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore the local area with a hike in the Lake District and a tour of Lancaster's historic castle.
