Nearly 89% of LUMS respondents to the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey said they were either in graduate positions or further study after completing their first degree. 

The number achieving one of the two "positive outcomes" has seen a steady increase over the past four years. 

A breakdown reveals that 100% of undergraduates from the Department of Organisation, Work and Technology who responded to the survey were in graduate employment or study, as were all the respondents from undergraduate Management Science courses.

Nearly 94% of respondents from courses such as BSc Business Studies and BBA Management had a similarly happy story to tell.

There was good news too for last year’s postgraduates, with 100% of respondents from Accounting and Finance, Economics and Management Science reporting that they had secured a graduate position or a place on a graduate-level course.

When it comes to salary, the undergraduate department with the highest reported average salary was Management Science, with £26,200. Management Science’s postgraduates also reported the highest earnings, at £40,700 on average.

Looking back on their experiences at LUMS, more than 88% of respondents felt that they had been well prepared or very well prepared for employment.
