We would like to congratulate Distinguished Professor Kevin Glazebrook, of the Department of Management Science, on this award in recognition of his exceptional accomplishments in operations research and management sciences.
The INFORMS Fellow Award represents outstanding lifetime achievement, and recognises significant contribution to a profession. Professor Glazebrook was elected for fundamental contributions to the theory and practice of operations research in the area of applied probability and for pioneering initiatives in doctoral education. It is believed he is only the second UK academic to receive this honour, making this accolade even more exceptional and we wish him all the best when he attends the Fellows Award Ceremony in Nashville later this month to be presented with his award.
