MBA students had the opportunity to network and get career advice during a recent trip to central London.
The trip to the Work Foundation was one of several that the MBA students take during their course.
Companies including EDF, L'Oréal and finance companies like EY were represented at the event, with speakers giving students helpful information about their companies.
MBA Career Programme Manager Cana Witt said: "Keeping breadth of networking opportunities in mind, we were delighted to be joined by students and alumni. It's really useful for the students to speak to alumni because they've been through all this career transition before.
"The alumni can really help them to make the most of this time, which can be quite frustrating. The alumni have lots of strategies for making a success of it."
Attendees also heard an energising lecture by Nigel Risner, which advised attendees on how to continue their careers after their MBA and a talk by LUMS alumnus and author of the bestselling book “Measuring Customer Experience - How to Develop and Execute the Most Profitable Customer Experience Strategies", Dr Phil Klaus.
Dr Klaus gave a vivid account of the inspiration he drew from the Lancaster MBA and his academic research into customer experience following the programme.
