The Universities Business Challenge Worldwide is the world’s longest established and most recognised simulation-based competitive challenge for undergraduates designed to develop employability and enterprise skills. Supported by the UK's leading universities and graduate employers, more than 20,000 students have benefitted from participating in the UBC Worldwide over the past 15 years.

This year over 350 teams from 75 UK universities took part and the organisers noted that performance has improved dramatically this year.

, LUMS Placements and Internship Manager, said, “This success is an indicator of the high calibre of our students and an outcome of our focus on embedding business skills and employability within the LUMS curriculum.”

The teams, which are captained by Chris Gannon (BSc Economics/Placement), Rosie Gathercole-Smith (BBA Management/Study Abroad) and Rory Peyton-Jones (BBA Management), will compete at the semi-finals in March.
