The Lancaster MBA has been ranked 5th in the UK in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings for Entrepreneurship  - and 7th in Europe.

The FT ranking focusses on the class of 2013, where at Lancaster 34% of graduates started their own company and 91% of those companies were still operating by the end of 2016.

Entrepreneurship is an increasingly important part of MBA study, as many students wish to pursue a career route which enables them to switch between jobs and  sectors, employment and  self-employment, rather than working for a large corporation.

Programme Director Peter Lenney said: “We are so proud of the achievements of our students – this result is a testimony to their great inventiveness and determination.”
