Lancaster University has been rated 11th in the UK and 40th in the world in the 2015 Financial Times Master in Finance rankings.
The list, now in its fifth edition, also put the school top in the northwest of England.
The FT ranking surveys graduates who completed their Masters study in 2012, in order to show career progression three years after graduation.
Grzegorz Pawlina, director of the School’s Accounting and Finance MSc programmes, said: “This result reflects our continuing commitment to provide high quality graduate education, the established international reputation of the School and the fact that our graduates are highly valued in the global job market. The place in the ranking offers a solid platform for future growth.”
LUMS has ranked in the top 40 in the FT Master in Finance rankings since they began.
This latest ranking is one of several recognitions LUMS’s Accounting and Finance department has received in recent months. LUMS has been ranked fifth in the UK for Accounting and Finance undergraduate courses in the Complete University Guide for 2016.
In another addition, from this autumn students on the Finance MSc course will benefit from the use of our new financial dealing room.
