New MSc Management scholarships for UK/EU applicants mean that exceptional candidates could be exempt from programme fees.

The High Potential Scholarship Competition is aimed at outstanding UK/EU applicants. Up to ten awards of £5,250 will be made to exceptional candidates who are able to demonstrate they have high employability potential.

There are three types of scholarship for applicants to the Management MSc:

  • Programme Scholarships of up to half fees: Awarded throughout the year to high-quality applicants from any region with a strong academic background and evidence of existing skills in leadership.

  • High Potential Scholarships of £5,250: Awarded at two points in the year on a competitive basis to a subset of UK/EU Programme Scholarship holders who demonstrate high employability potential.

  • Alumni Scholarships of 10-20% of fees: Awarded to all Lancaster alumni (from any year, faculty or region) who graduated with a 2:1 or 1st Class Honours degree.

As some applicants may be eligible for more than one type of scholarship, this can make a significant difference to the cost of studying for a Masters. For UK/EU applicants, it is now possible for the very best applicants to become exempt from paying fees altogether.

Dr Mark Stevenson, Programme Director of the MSc Management said:

“We are delighted to be able to offer a range of very competitive scholarships to MSc Management applicants. These are amongst the most attractive scholarships available in the UK to students looking to study a general management postgraduate degree.

“The scholarships can cut the costs of studying for a Masters degree significantly. They demonstrate the University’s commitment to this important Masters programme and our desire to work with the very best postgraduate students.

“The MSc Management at Lancaster already has an international reputation for excellence. It is accredited by the Association of MBAs and globally ranked by the Financial Times. This scholarship initiative will ensure we continue to attract high-calibre, ambitious students to the programme.”
