End-of-year alumni celebrations in Tokyo

On 20th December 2014, LUMS alumni in Japan got together for a year-end party in Shinagawa, Tokyo. Some of the attendees had travelled to the event from other cities and for most people it was the first time they had met each other.
Around 20 alumni attended the party, from graduation years 2000 to 2014. They enjoyed exchanging memories of Lancaster as well as recent updates from their business and personal lives. Many attendees commented that it was a good opportunity to discuss business with people from different professional backgrounds, who had work experience that was different to their own.
The event was organised by MBA alumni Atsushi Sasaki and Akira Naito, who also contribute to a Facebook group set up for LUMS alumni in Japan. They aim to organise more events in Tokyo, working with the LUMS Alumni Office to strengthen the alumni network in Japan.
