Ken Binmore, who raised the UK Government £22.5 billion in the 3G telecommunications auction in 2000, will be giving a keynote speech, as will Ed Hopkins from the University of Edinburgh, Jean-Pierre Benoit from the London Business School and Chris Wallace of the University of Leicester.

“The Department of Economics at LUMS recently hired several game theorists who will present their research on the Lancaster Game Theory Conference,” said Professor Alexander Matros, one of the organisers.

“We hope that the conference will create an opportunity to bring game theorists together to discuss their research and allow us to build up a network.”

Organisers encourage the submission of papers on theoretical, experimental and applied game theory.

The conference will take place at LUMS on 6-7^th November.

Extended abstracts must be submitted by email to Sonali SenGupta, with the email subject “LGTC2015: abstract submission” by Monday, 31^st August.
