Peter Anstiss
Peter is passionate about helping individuals, teams and businesses realise their full potential. His leadership of complex, high technology programmes in worldwide markets has given him a unique insight into the needs of global companies and their employees. His extensive knowledge of multiple cultures, customer sensitivities and shareholder expectations complements a strong practical engineering background. This has resulted in his appointment to a number of high-profile executive and non-executive board positions with large, medium and small companies – ranging from start-ups to established FTSE 100 PLCs.
Aside from proudly supporting his family, which has been a key priority for him throughout his career, his greatest achievements have been to maintain a healthy work/life balance, sustain long term personal relationships and to be recognised by colleagues as someone who consistently demonstrates strong ethical core values. In addition, he is able to conduct himself with gravitas when required yet still be informal and approachable to team members and peers looking for advice and support.
Peter regards himself as very fortunate in being able to combine his engineering skills and competitive nature in his primary hobby – the restoration and racing of historic cars. More recently, as he developed his portfolio career, he has also overseen the renovation of a listed farmhouse and cottage in the Yorkshire Dales National Park which has proved hugely rewarding and very expensive in equal measures…
Looking to the future, Peter’s ambition is to continue to utilise his extensive business experience to help develop the next generation of senior leaders and innovative companies. He has a particular affinity for helping the economic prosperity of the North West of England where he has lived for over forty years but also retains a passion for successful international business development.
