Entrepreneurs in Residence

Since the programme was conceived in 2008, we have grown to over 80 Entrepreneurs in Residence from around the globe.

Our Entrepreneurs in Residence breathe life into the theories students learn in classrooms. The entrepreneurs in our network contribute to academic research, mentor students, and involve students in their businesses through student projects.

Introducing the programme

Brian Gregory, Director of the Entrepreneurs in Residence programme, shares what makes the programme unique.

What is an Entrepreneur in Residence?

An Entrepreneur in Residence is an entrepreneur from the small-and-medium-sized business (SME) world who is part of Lancaster University.

Entrepreneurs in Residence have an important double role in the university. They help the university understand the SME world and, at the same time, they help generate a better understanding in the SME world of universities.
