Assistant Professor, Cass Business School

Since completing my PhD Accounting & Finance programme at Lancaster University in 2011, I work as an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Cass Business School, City University of London. In addition to that, I consult a major organisation in the investment management industry in London.

Studying at Lancaster was an important mile stone in my career path. I obtained both my PhD and Master’s degrees at Lancaster. My MSc Accounting & Financial Management degree in 2007 provided me with a strong educational background, whilst it also fuelled my interest in further education.

My PhD studies at Lancaster were focused on research and teaching excellence. The University provided me with an exceptionally dynamic and friendly environment, as well as strong support in terms of resources, IT, funding and all aspects of personal development.

During my PhD in Accounting & Finance, Lancaster University offered me the opportunity to work as an Early Stage Researcher of the INTACCT Research and Training Network 2007-2009, which further enhanced my education and my international network.
