Describe your time at LUMS in three words.

Mind-broadening, hardworking, astonishing experience.

Did you do a project, placement, study abroad? What did this involve and what did you gain?

My master thesis was done in Hamburg, Germany, working in Beiersdorf facilities. During that time, I had the opportunity to improve my German speaking skills, along with living within the working german culture. I had to face different academic challenges, from research of cosmetics industry to specific mathematical models applicable to my research topic.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster (course, social, work experience…)?

Cooperation between the students, working, studying and trying altogether to achieve outstanding deliveries. The opportunity to meet people from around the world with different experiences and backgrounds.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

You can really live the British experience, something that cosmopolitan cities cannot offer you. The university has everything for you to have an amazing experience, all these influenced in part by the chance to be part of social clubs and various activities.

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

Lancaster made me switch my career path through helping me discovering new tools, techniques and methodologies to face nowadays business problems. The chance to interact with international students made me more flexible and able to work with people from different backgrounds.
