Why did you choose to study at LUMS?
Studying at LUMS was such a great opportunity to learn from the brilliant professors, make friends with people from all over the world and experience living in the UK.
What was the best thing about your course?
Learning complex micro and macroeconomics concepts, working in teams for our finance courses and presenting the results of our work to our classmates.
What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?
All the teaching staff who had to organise online classes when the first lockdown started, as they were incredibly accommodating and understanding.
Did you do a project, placement or study abroad? What did this involve and what did you gain?
Studying at LUMS was a part of my double degree programme offered by Lancaster University and my home university. I definitely gained a lot of international experience, made friends with so many amazing people and improved my soft skills.

Freedom. Friendship. Challenge.
What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?
Staying with my flatmates during the first lockdown, watching movies, great conversations and long walks in the forest.
What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?
Definitely nature and the peaceful atmosphere.
What impact did scholarships or funding have on your degree experience?
Scholarships definitely made the whole experience even more rewarding.
Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?
Teamwork, presentation and analytical skills.
What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?
The Lancaster experience helped me to broaden my horizons, and gave me competitive advantage on the international job market.
