Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

When I started to search for the Masters opportunities I had already made my decision about the country where I would like to study. So, I was going to choose the university. One of the decisive facts was that Lancaster University is one of the top UK universities. Another reason was the course that was offered for obtaining Masters degree. Additionally, Lancaster University offers great studying facilities.

Why did you choose your particular programme?

Project Management is considered to be universal set of skills and knowledge that can be used almost in each industry. I used to work with managing projects and at some point felt that I needed a more proficient set of knowledge and skills. In addition, it is great that this programme offered a lot of practical work during studies in groups on real world projects. You can use your theoretical knowledge and turn them into your practice.

What are you enjoying most about your programme?

Project Management is very interesting field and my expectations about this programme were met. Of course, studying process is not an easy thing, however, I enjoy it. You have a chance to stress your abilities and willingness to learn and grow as a professional. Courses are very practical offering a variety of real projects on which we are currently working. And it really works, students started to acquire skills that will help to successfully complete projects in the future.

Tell us about your best Lancaster moment so far.

One of the best moments is associated with the first days in Lancaster. First impression was very fascinating. University campus, studying facilities and beautiful nature leave unforgettable memories of the start of my Masters studies.

What are your plans after graduating from LUMS?

I am planning to go back to my home country and continue to work in the sphere of project management in marketing. Also, I am planning to use acquired project management knowledge and skills in implementing social projects for increasing the popularity of sustainable business and responsible consumption.
