Online Communications Manager, Host1Plus

Airline IT is the Marketing/Commercial division in charge of Amadeus IT solutions for airlines. Integrated in the Airline IT division, the Airline IT Offer Communication team is responsible for promoting and delivering external and internal activities such as product promotions, event organisation, and online campaigns. Focused on products, this team works hand in hand with all Product Marketing and Sales departments to promote IT solutions and to strengthen company’s customer relationship.

My direct responsibilities in Amadeus were to update a few online portals/tools with efficient information, help to define the main theme of the event, build events’ agenda, and prepare presentations. In addition, I was responsible for delivering product sales sheets, video scripts by collaborating with design agencies and copywriters.

During the placement I engaged in many different activities that led to a better understanding of how international corporations work and a deeper knowledge of commercial division.

One of the most important projects I worked on was a one-click solution for managing airline disruption and its white paper. My duties were to make sure that particular activities were delivered on time, work closely with design agency in order to deliver an infographic as well as a video for the solution. I had to think of different ideas how to introduce this project to existing and new customers. The solution was presented at the Las Vegas Future Travel Experience event and got a lot of positive feedback.
