I chose Lancaster University because it is highly regarded globally for its strong reputation and excellent graduate employability. Additionally, its Master's program in Supply Chain Management is ranked 3rd in the UK and 13th worldwide.
What was the best thing about your course?
The courses are delivered in small group settings, making it easier for students to engage directly with professors and seek clarification on any questions. The professors are passionate and dedicated to addressing students' concerns, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Moreover, the course content is meticulously designed to align with the latest developments and trends, allowing students to explore real-world examples from the supply chain sector and within the industrial landscape.
What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?
Dr Nhu Quynh Do. In our class, there were many second-language English-speaking students, yet she always provided clear explanations for assignments and tasks, ensuring everyone understood. Her effectiveness and teaching style stood out as well; whenever we had questions, she responded promptly. I was particularly grateful to have her as my thesis supervisor. With her guidance and support, every step of the process was well-organised, providing clarity on what to do next. This was especially reassuring for students like me who had no prior thesis experience.
Describe your time at LUMS in three words.
