I came to LUMS through double degree options with Catolica Porto Business School.

What was the best thing about your course?

The professors.

What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?

Kim Kaivanto and Roberto Pinto are great teachers who provided me with guidance regarding my future and also brought more than theory to their classes.

Did you do a project, placement or study abroad? What did this involve and what did you gain?

My Master’s was a double degree between Portugal and the U.K. It was good to meet people from different cultures and try a different learning system.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?

My best memories are of the dinners with all the friends that I had the opportunity to make there.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

I liked that it’s a small and friendly city.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

Some of the specific fixed income modules we studied.

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

It’s had a positive impact as it provided me with all the tools that I needed in the beginning of my career.
