Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

I chose to study at LUMS for two key reasons. First, the degree programme had some interesting modules, and second, I wanted to experience studying at a collegiate university.

What was the best thing about your course?

If I had to choose one, it was that I could focus on doing my best one module at a time.

What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?

Prof. Magnus George inspired me the most because I learned a lot from him about addressing academic and non-academic issues. He was so supportive, approachable, direct, and pragmatic.

Describe your time at LUMS in three words.

Learning, reflecting and growing.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?

One of my best memories is the Design Thinking and Innovation course. The way the course was delivered was unique and thought-provoking. Another best memory is going on a trip to Conwy in Wales with the Graduate College friends.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

Lancaster is serene and good for students who would like to avoid distractions.

What impact did scholarships or funding have on your degree experience?

I got the Chevening Scholarship, and it helped me not worry about my finances. Therefore, I could focus more on my degree and leisure activities.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

Although I continue with the job I had before going to Lancaster, the knowledge gained from the Business Model Innovation module is highly important for the current situation at my company.

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

It has influenced me to be more strategic and fact/data-driven when managing my businesses.

Is there anything else about your LUMS experience that you'd like to share with us?

Another highlight was meeting with many entrepreneurs from the Entrepreneurs in Residence programme. I learned some highly valuable lessons from them.
