Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

The good reputation of Lancaster University Management School was one of the main reasons. Furthermore, not only the academic level but also the career team services and their support.

What was the best thing about your experience?

The 3 years of Economics helped me build a solid foundation of microeconomics, macroeconomics and quantitative skills.

What/who inspired you most at LUMS and why?

Dr. Aurelie Slechten helped me not just in an academic sense, but also she gave me a lot of help with figuring out what I wanted to do in terms of further study and how to approach it.

What are your best memories of your time at Lancaster?

The final exam period is hard, but it helps you test your limits.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

Lancaster people are all kind and warm-hearted.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

My career coach, Sophia Wu. She helped me on my CV and personal statement and gave great advice. 

What impact has your Lancaster experience had on your career?

The assessment structure has individual projects and group work, which helped us develop communication and corporate skills.
