Why did you choose to study at LUMS?

I chose LUMS to study Money, Banking and Finance because I liked the research-based approach that connected financial topics with the broader economic context. All lecturers were recognised in their own field of expertise.

What was the best thing about your course?

I liked to get in discussion with my lecturers to challenge existing viewpoints and thus develop a better understanding on core mechanics in the finance-based economy.

What are the best things about living in the Lancaster area?

I appreciated the selection of different pubs on the campus that makes it easy to connect with people from different countries. Additionally, the state-of-the-art library helped me to get prepared for exams. The proximity to breath-taking nature helped every time the stress seems to take over.

Which parts of your Lancaster experience were the best preparation for your job?

Learning how to manage tight deadlines while working with fellow students on large datasets to prove a finance related hypothesis.
