Mapping China Research and Collaboration

Showcasing excellence, providing transparency, supporting responsible collaboration

The Mapping China Research and Collaboration project's six dashboards provide a detailed picture of the university's research on, in and with China, broadly defined.

Each dashboard provides two views: China Research, depicting the university's publications about China and the Sinophone world; and China Collaboration, showing publications involving one or more academics from Lancaster University and institutions in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Click the button in the top-right to toggle between the two.

The dashboards are based on bibliometric data from Scopus and SciVal. The project received generous support from FASS Research Culture funds and was developed by Yunyan Li, Nicola Wylie, Victoria Su and Andrew Chubb.
