CONFERENCE MESSAGE MENU
-----------------------

When you are reading a long message, LuBBs will stop after each full screen of 
text or at a spoiler char (`).  A prompt will be displayed, asking you if you 
want to see more. If you type 'N' or 'Q', LuBBs exits from showing the message. 
If you type 'D', the display will scroll through half a full screen of text of 
the message.  Pressing SPACE, RETURN or 'Y' will cause another full screen of 
text to be displayed.  You can also press a number key to see that number more 
lines.

The commands offered to you in the menu will depend on what you are allowed  to 
do and the state of the reader. 

Key     Function

 A      Message admin menu (see separate help page)
 
 B      Backwards one message in POSTING order
 
 C      Catch Up, marking as read either all messages you haven't read or just
        those with the same subject as the current message

 D      Display current message again.
  
 E      Enter a new message (see separate help page)

 F      Forwards one message in POSTING order
  
 G      Go to a specified message number. The default for this is to go to the
        original message that current one is in reply to. Sometimes this will 
        cause the current conference to be changed i.e. the message you are 
        reading is in another conference to the one it is a reply to. Message 
        numbers can be found by using the 'l'ist or 's'can option in the menu.
        
 H      Hold message(s) as unread. This holds either the current message, 
 	messages with the same subject or all messages in a conference as 
 	unread so that they will be presented again as new for reading.
  
 I      Information page for the conference detailing the sorts of message that
        go in the conference.
        
 J      Jump to the next conference. This will exit from the current 
 	conference, but won't take you back to the LuBBs main menu.
 
 L      Display conference thread list with thread number and thread title. 
 	Also displays information about the total number of messages in a 
 	thread, the starting and ending message number for a thread, the total 
 	number of unread messages for a thread and the current starting 
 	message number for a thread if the original message has been 
 	auto-deleted. For example
 	
 	4 - new stuff
	    5 total (starting 11933, ending 11939), 3 new (starting 11937)

 M      Mail back message to your email address or to a file or pipe.
  
 N      Read the next/new message in SUBJECT order

 P      Previous message in SUBJECT order
 
 R      Reply to current message (see separate help page on entering messages)

 S      Scan/search message headers for this conference. Firstly, you will be 
 	given the option of seeing 'only' those messages that are unread. Next,
 	you can choose to show full headers, just the subject or abort the
 	search. Finally, you can specify a string of text to search for in the
 	message. This will bring up a list of all the messages within the 
 	conference that match your search criteria. Using this option will also
 	allow you to see which messages have been Damnusefulled (protected 
 	from Auto-Delete).
 	
 T	Go to subject thread number.
 
 U      Unsubscribe to this conference if you no longer want to see messages in
        the conference. You can resubscribe later and your message count will
        still be held

 V      Vote for your choice. This only applies to messages which have had a 
 	vote opened on them (see separate help file).
        
 W      Who's who information relating to the current message. This will either
 	show information about the author of the current message or all the 
 	members subscribed to the conference.
        
 X      Exit Conference back to the LuBBs main menu.

 ?	Displays a brief summary of the commands available.
