Dr Emma Wilson
LecturerResearch Overview
My research interests lie in applying and developing systems and control theory to improve health and well-being, this includes: adaptive treatments; Control theory; Bio-inspired Control; Brain-based robotics; modelling dynamic systems; muscle modelling; developing a computational understanding of biological systems; using insight from biological systems to inspire and improve engineered systems and conversely using engineering techniques to improve biological systems.
PhD Supervision Interests
Applying and developing systems and control theory for digital health applications. Including personalised treatment decisions, dynamic modelling of health.
