Dr Louise Mullagh
Lecturer in Arts ManagementProfile
I am a post-disciplinary researcher and educator whose research and practice centres around past, present and future uses of technologies across the creative and cultural industries. My current research explores the current and future impacts of the data-driven society and AI creative and cultural industries, in addition to the wider implications upon policy and governance.
I have previously carried out research exploring creative maker enterprises in Cumbria, the use of design and creative methods in public policy, and the effect of the data-driven society on our understandings of place.
My teaching on the Arts Management MA explores the past, present and future impacts of digital technologies on the arts, in particular on creative and cultural organisations.
I have a background in art history, curatorship, digital innovation and more recently in the areas of design public policy.
