Professor William Davison
Emeritus ProfessorResearch Overview
There are 3 main strands to my research: (a) dynamic process in sediment geochemistry; (b) chemical speciation in natural waters; (c) chemical interactions in soils relevant to plant uptake. They are all aided by the techniques of DGT and DET (diffusive gradients/equilibration in thin films). Current work includes the role of microniches in sediment biogeochemistry, metal interactions in the rhizosphere of rice and metal dissociation kinetics in freshwater. http://www.dgtresearch.com
