Research Overview

Hannah is a PhD student with an interest in sustainable agriculture, soil biogeochemsitry and plant physiology. Her PhD research focuses on phosphorus cycling in soybean cropping systems, particularly the role of phosphorus in N₂ fixation processes. This project aims to link below-ground plant-soil-microbial interactions with plant response and yield improvements following phosphorus addition. Hannah is funded by, and working in partnership with, the department of research and development Corteva Agriscience (USA), alongside collaborations with Liebniz Centre for Agricultrual Landscap Research (ZALF) and Technical University of Munich.
