Dr Andy Wilby
Senior LecturerResearch Overview
My primary interest is the influence of ecological interactions on ecosystem functioning and ecosystem service provision. In particular, my research focuses the application of community ecology to address problems of agricultural and ecosystem sustainability, such as the provision of pollination and pest regulation services and the integration of agriculture and biodiversity conservation. Primarily, I use an experimental approach at a range of scales from lab-based mesocosms to landscape studies.
