A Methods Exchange session in collaboration with the University of Manchester, focusing on Materiality and Knowledge Production.
You are cordially invited to the second MethodsX meeting of 2019 for the stream, ‘Archives, Collections and Documents of Life’. This meeting is hosted by the University of Manchester research network ‘Knowing Things: Materiality and Knowledge Production’ which encourages inter-disciplinary and collaborative research. It will focus on the methodologies and approaches used by a number of academic disciplines and practitioners (including curators and artists) when working with formal archives and collections, or when working with diverse ‘documents of life’, such as personal texts, photographs, artefacts and objects, or other forms of material culture and visual culture.
